Spine Institute

The Spine Institute offers a comprehensive approach to the treatment of neck and back pain. Services include a specialized rehabilitation program that employs evidence-based physical therapy services, counseling and case management.

Following assessment at either of The Spine Institute’s Assessment Centers, patients may elect to receive rehabilitation at any of four convenient outpatient locations in Shreveport and Bossier City. The locations are at or near a Willis-Knighton hospital and follow established protocols to ensure a standardized treatment regime with state-of-the art equipment. Rehabilitation goals include improvement of strength, endurance, flexibility and overall physical fitness with an emphasis on decreasing pain. An empowering, positive approach to patient care is provided with a focus on patient education and staying active. Counseling is offered to help with the issues of limitations caused by spine disorders and pain. Case management is available to coordinate insurance coverage and access community resources.
